We know that clinic visits can be stressful for both you and your animal companion. So we offer independent vet care in the comfort of your own home through our afternoon home visits in the East London and Islington areas. We want to make our services more convenient and stress-free so that each of our clients can have a positive experience with their veterinarian.
Our Services
Vaccination
Routine vaccinations against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus and Leptospirosis no longer require a visit to the clinic. For our more nervous animal companions (or owners) vaccinating at home can be one less thing to worry about. Before administering vaccines we always perform a 'nose to tail' physical exam assessing your pets underlying health. Kennel cough vaccines are recommended for dogs regularly mixing with other dogs in daycare or dog walking vans.
Parasite Control
Before prescribing any prescription products or administering treatments we will always perform a 'nose to tail' phyical exam assessing your pets underlying health. The Hoxton Vet stocks a variety of products to protect against flea and tick infestations as well as many intestinal worms and of particular importance lungworm prevention. We prefer tablet form products to protect our water habitats from contamination from topical products on swimming pets.
Home Euthanasia
We know that saying good-bye is one of the hardest but also the kindest decisions you may be faced with. We understand because we have also had to say good-bye to our beloved animal companions. We offer compassionate home euthanasia and cremation services to those who prefer the familiarity of home and want their final moments surrounded by loving family. We make every effort to make their passing as peaceful and comfortable as we can.
